Dan Gilbert:” Why are we happy? Why aren’t we happy?”
At the beginning Dan Gilbert said, that human brain is very big and it influences on it, if we feel happy or not.One of the main reasons our brain got so big is because it got a new part, called the frontal lobe. Gilbert told about the experience simulators, which everyone has.Because the fact is that a year after losing the use of their legs, and a year after winning the lotto, lottery winners and paraplegics are equally happy with their lives. We synthesize happiness, but we think happiness is a thing to be found. Some people think different. There's something important to be learned from these people, and it is the secret of happiness. First: accrue wealth, power. Second: spend as much of your life in prison as you possibly can.Third: make somebody else really, really rich. And : never join the Beatles. We believe that synthetic happiness is not of the same quality as what we might call natural happiness.Natural happiness is what we get when we get what we wanted, and synthetic happiness is what we make when we don't get what we wanted. I think this talk very good. This teacher was very enthusiastic.

Dean Ornish: Our genes are not our fate
Dean shows that we shouldn’t think that our health and our genes are
writted down in our fate because it is not true. From his statement we find out that
everything what we do have influence on our health. He says that when we eat healthier,
when we control our stress and train and make love more often more blood and oxygen is
transfered to our brain and even our brain is getting bigger. Of course we shouldn’t drink
too much alcohol and we shouldn’t put us under stress because when we do this we lose
our cellulars. He also showed some picture in which we find out that when we smoke cigarettes we are wasting our sexual potency. So our life is in our hands. When we change
our lifestyle our skin will be more florid and man is growing old later then usual.
We will be happy when we will see that our healthy lifestyle is reacting on every part of our body. And it is not untruth. It’s confirmed by many reaserches. Our genes are not our fate.

Ken Robinson said that schools killed creativity. Looking at consequences, which comes from the strange education system, we see that there’s something wrong, but what? When we ask our parents, what could happen, if they graduated from the university in 70’s or 80’s, they will probably be someone with a high scientific degree and they have a job. Nowadays having a high degree doesn’t guarantee you employment. Education won’t be a title or life level anymore, because it became a commodity, which has an obvious prize.
During our lives we are taught by patterns as if we were a spreadsheet. When we aren’t taught something and the problem has just appeared, we can’t managed with it. We can’t use our creativity, because some time ago, we had been told that the most important were mathematic and humanistic knowledge, not solving problems and using intelligence art.
According to Ken Robinson’s exposition, contemporary hierarchy education kills human’s intelligence and creativity. In my opinion this is irrefutable truth, that we have to take part in two schools: The first is ‘ School of Knowledge about Creativity and Intelligence ‘ and the second would be ‘ School of Life and Managing to Problems ‘

She try to prove that the true abut this problem isn’t clear like it show us two dolls

Shereen connected with the world of Islam. The simple day in Arabic country is more or less the same like in the country of USA. People are busy, they work in an offices and another place, like people of West do.

The speaker showed us two examples. After two music wideo (first from USA, second from Arabic country) Shereen relate about Arabic music television 4shabab which is counterpart MTV from USA. 4shabab was created by producer from Egypt. It’s very popular among young people. In this television appear music videos which are very audacious, deviated from percepts traditional religion. The second example is a commix series, which about “99 team”. It is the story for the youngest which is about people who are fighting for a justice like hero in West culture.

These examples prove that Islam culture doesn’t clash with the West culture, but it mashes. It last from the beginning of Islam and Koran where you can read: “ We made you into nations and tribes so that you could learn from another.”

She add to her comment following words: "We made you into nations and tribes so that you could learn from the another". In her opinion, this words are very wise, independently of what we understand on that.

Carolyn Porco in her composition ,,Could a Saturn moon harbor life?,, was talking about researches into Enceladus – one of seventeen Saturn’s moon. The examination has been started two years ago when there had been discovered special fractures with jets in the Enceladus’ surface. Scientists estimated that jets are composed of water and organic compounds. In latter years it was proved that this theory was true. There were some journeys to Enceladus by Cassini Spacecraft which was also working with this geologically active region. During this researches it was proved that liquid water comes from some kind of pockets and water has contact with rock. We got other important informations, too. It was for example precise measurements. If there is water in the world, it supplies living organisms. Furthermore, maybe people would live there? Or just watch geysers and other magnificent views? Now, scientists and biologists have been examining samples from moon’s surface. In general, Mrs Porco is satisfied with those discoveries, she thinks that the moon would be visited or even inhabited in the future.

Elizabeth Gilbert on nurturing creativity,

Elizabeth Gilbert is a famous writer.Author of a diarry called "Eat, Pray, Love". Her talk about creativity of an artist leads up to a difficult topic- Haw much can we expect from an artist and is it possible to call him a genius.First of all, all the artists who want to achieve their goals and create something new must have their wings cuted duwn by surrounding society of people.
Moving back in time to Rome or acient Greece we notice some kind of psychological protection that could make a safe distanse beetwen the artist and the reaction that his masterpiece will inicjate.Roman spirits and others divine creatures were the reasons that creativity visited wanted artists. As a result acient cywilizations didn't believe in individual genius located in one person.Hard to imagine for people living in 21 century but on the other hand this old custom gave the artist freedom of writing without consequences of bleeming only themselfes for failure.
Elizabeths talk is understandable even thoe she touches difficult problems. I enjoyed listening to her lecture.

Dan Buettner says about possibilities and solutions , which concerns longevity achieving . He presented four places, where people live longer than the average of life is. These societies consist of very old, but health inhabitants, who have done the same life rituals helping them live longer. But in common world is difficult to achieve this level of age. So the question is : How should we do it based on their life ?
Sometimes we can hear about sentences, which says about possible solutions like : when we want to live more than one hundred years we can or that we can stop our age processes. But these are not solutions, but only faked ascertainments. When we want to achieve longevity, in my opinion we should decide what society we want to belong. Moreover our life should base on natural activities and rational lifestyle.
Summing up, our longevity depends on life directions, which we want to go on. We have to decide: If we want to stay in this world longer and see how our great-great-great-grandchildren grow, our life will have to be changed. We shouldn’t emphasize our retirement like the end of our lives, but as if it was the beginning of the new story.

Jonathan Klein is a photographer and founder the company called “Getty Images”. Jonathan in his presentation tries to show us how to have great power images. Jonathan in his show gives us a photos, which confirm his theory. He says that people are looking for images , which provoke us to step up , to do something.
For example , Jonathan shows us the picture taken in Congo on which are murdered and crucified gorillas. This photo caused outrage among many organizations , but also returned our attention to this problem. He shows us also pictures from Haiti remains us of the destructive power of nature.
Jonathan shows us also photos for example from prisons. In some prisons , people are very badly treated , and this picture, which saw the whole world , has “contributed” to change policies for many governments.
He shows us the horrifying images taken in Sudan in 1998 showing us how big is the problem with famine in Africa. These photos put a lot of focus and attention on this problem.
He said that “ You don’t take a photograph , you make it “ and I think that it is true. Sometimes photos can change people and world.

Graham Hill: Why I'm a weekday vegetarian
I agree with Graham Hill. People are not ready for radical changes. Some do not eat meat and there is not no problem for them. However, an ordinary man who eats meat for breakfast, lunch and dinner, this could not easily be abandoned. It's a good idea to start gradually with from what I like. Even one day can change our views. If we eat fruits and vegetables and less meat in our diet can completely change. Stop so many animals need to die to save our ecosystem, and thus even a small extent contribute to longer and healthier lives closer to nature. That said, of course it is better to only eat meat when offered than to eat it all the time. I just fail to understand how people can think this internally consistent Think we need to promote less meat, and support vegetarianism. But you can not force anyone to do anything it must be a voluntary decision to which each of us must grow up, when we are forced to do something are usually the opposite effect than that which is expected of us. Such is human nature…
