This is the inside story of Street Art - a brutal and revealing account of what happens when fame, money and vandalism collide. Exit Through the Gift Shop follows an eccentric shop-keeper turned amateur film-maker as he attempts to capture many of the world's most infamous vandals on camera, only to have a British stencil artist named Banksy turn the camcorder back on its owner with wildly unexpected results.

One of the most provocative films about art ever made, Exit Through the Gift Shop is a fascinating study of low-level criminality, comradeship and incompetence. By turns shocking, hilarious and absurd, this is an enthralling modern-day fairytale... with bolt cutters.

I loved Street Art. I thought that this is art. People who do it have original look at the world. They are creative and they have a lot of ideas. I was admired with work of Banksy. He travel and does what he likes. He is famous. He enchanted me. However...
Before watching the film "Exit Through The Gift Shop" I started to look for other works of the famous graffiti-painter. I found two illustrations which shocked me. I was angry and unhappy. On first from the illustrations was a Jesus Christ in the figure hanging on the cross who kept shopping bags in his hands. On second picture was white dove (means of the Holy Spirit, peace or alliance) which was on the sight of a gun. I was scared. I'm Christian. I think that it is an insult of my religion. Now I don't know what to think about it.

J watched this documentary film with a great interest. After watching it J had mixed feelings, about Street Art. On one side J was fascinated by skills and art of graffiti painters. On the other hand, J noticed that this kind of art sometimes destroys public buildings. I did not like the fact that characters from the film did not respect other people. It is good that they wonted to express themselfs and their feelings, but it is bad that they ruin other people's property. What I like about Banksy and his friends is their determination. I also like their relationships and friendships.
To some up after watching this film I can't say if graffiti is an act vandalism or art. It can be both. People who do it are talented so they are artists, but sometimes they do their graffiti in wrong places, so are vandalls.

I think that street art is very interesting. It is like a style of life! People, who do that are very creative. They are courageous too, because graffiti is illegal. This is for people who like adrenaline.
“Exit Through The Gift Shop” shows excellent the activity of graffiti artists.
Thierry’s determination was great, but I don’t like this that he did images for fame and commerce. He lost passion. Banksy didn’t do this for money.
Unfortunately, I think that graffiti in our country are generally an act of vandalism. Graffiti is art, if it doesn’t destroy urban landscape.
This documentary is very inspiring for me.

Before seeing the film I thought that graffiti is vandalism. After watching this document, my feelings have changed.
The film "Exit Through The Gift Shop" convinced me that Street art is a very interesting art form. I like this movie for editing, playing actors, music, and above all the content. People who create graffiti are amazing, I admire them.
I think the idea of this film was to convince people, that street art is not vandalism, it is art.
Banksy is a graffiti artist. His work really appealed to me. I like the fact that Banksy does not for the money. It is his passion. He does what he likes and that's cool.
Therry Guetta, man, who is obsessed with Bansky. Therrry becomes an independent, crazy artist. His ambition to scare me.
I liked the movie.
I think that street art is a good and interesting idea for our gray lives.

When I saw this film, i have challenged feels. My first though- street art is act of vandalism. My second though (after seeing)- street art is beautiful and original form of art.
The film "Exit Through The Gift Shop" showed the good and bad sides street art, but I see mostly good parties. This art give it colour and life gray streets. People who can create graffiti, have the talent, courage and personal style. And I think that this is exceptional.
Thierry is determinated and ineteresting person, but Bunksy stolen my heart. His art was impossible. His person was impossible. This film is impossible.
I'm very fascinated that all.
And I share the opinion of Michał Oleszczyk, that " graffiti in our country are generally an act of vandalism. Graffiti is art, if it doesn’t destroy urban landscape".
I think that this should be legal, but under control, because it's good idea until art is art.

(and I'm sorry that I write too late, but we have too much homework, exams and lessons ;p)

In general ,I liked the film ,because it is about on interesting form of art exciting attitude towards it. Street art should be treated like other forms besides ,the movie is vell done and it appeals to me.
Many people would say that graffiti is just vandalism. I can agree with there to same extent as there are many people who want to destroy and demolish public places but on the other hand, there are genuine artists who want tis way to express themselves.
In conclusion, we can meet real art everywhere ,even in the street. Just keep your eyes open.
