Animal shelters are very important because they care for abandoned or neglected animals. They also provide temporary homes for animals off the street.
This article provides effective fundraising ideas for homeless animals.
Ask pet stores and veterinary clinics in your area for help and set up a donation station for animals that have no home. If you see a homeless animal don't just walk by and help. Give it food warm it up at least give it joy for a few minutes. You don't have to take it in if you don't want to, but never be indifferent! We also used social media to spread the word before and after the charity event where we will be raising money for homeless animals. This is an event for families where there will be fun activities and in the process we will raise money for animals in need. Digital fundraising is a great way to raise money for any budget, so we created a fundraising page on the website where people donate money that will be used for basic things like pet food, blankets and toys. Everyone who donates to our fundraising page, where we help homeless animals, receives a personal thank you. We also encourage adoption because that is where you can find a true friend. Volunteers from all over the school gathered with cans and walked around the school collecting money, there were also collections at school where teachers collected money from us or needed items such as pet food, which we gladly donated. We managed to collect a lot of money and all of it was donated to homeless animals, but this is still not enough. There are many animals in the world that need our help. I encourage you to donate money on our website, but also to organize your own collections of this type. Small gestures, and they give so much joy. Let's help!

Last weekend, our school hosted a charity campaign for homeless animals. The action consisted in collecting money for basic things for such animals and collecting them (dry and wet food, food and water bowls, leashes for walking). The whole event took place on the school playground. It started at 9 o'clock. Students and teachers got very involved in the whole action. All those who participated wore blue T-shirts and name tags. Due to the favorable weather conditions, the students organized various games for children (face painting and others). Money was collected in cans either by buying cakes or cupcakes made by the students. There were also stands with other hand-made items. The special guests were dogs found and wandering on the street, which were handed over to a nearby vet who took care of them. Everyone could play with them. The dogs looked very happy. Most have even found new owners. All collected money went to the vet and shelter that deals with such dogs. Such events are very important and important because thanks to them we can help those who need it the most and have a nice and pleasant time. We hope that such actions will take place more often.

School charity fundraising
Students from 1LO in Zduńska Wola last weekend made a fundraising event for homeless pets. Let's take a look at it!
After asking a few questions we found out a lot of information. Firstly it was third edition of this event, so students used the experience gained during previous editions to make this one go without any problems. when we found out everything went perfectly. The weather was sunny and warm so everyone could meet up, talk a bit and of course give some money for the charity.
Event started at 11am in the center of city park. Students had to be there much earlier to set up snack stands and lemonade which was free for everyone who took a part in the event.
There was some nice music too which made a great mood.
Everything went smoothly and in the end of day they raised over ten thousand zlotych!
The money was transferred to the director of pet shelter in Czartki - village near Zduńska Wola. The shelter will buy bigger cages and food for animals and made an official web page to encourage people to take animals from the shelter.
This event for sure promoted 1LO and made a world better place. Now less pets will suffer from homeless, starvation and dehydration.

A walk to the shelter
It’s known that pets are for most of us an important part of our life. Unfortunately, many dogs and cats don’t have much love and happiness. They don’t have a loving home where they could sleep peacefully. Because of that, our school decided to organize a charity action which would help those animals.
Last month, the school council have organized a collection for a local shelter. For two days, students from our high school, dressed in colorful T-shirts, were walking on main street of our city and they were encouraging people to give a little donation to their cans. What’s more, the biggest influence on those people had dogs which were on a walk with students. At school there was also a possibility to give some gifts for shelter like food, toys, or blankets.
This event raised money for homeless pets and let the shelter take good care of them. During our event the interest in a shelter raised – we also get information about many new adoptions! What’s most important, charity actions help others and give hope for a better tomorrow. Due to charity events, the awareness of pets’ unhappiness and loneliness is rising and as a consequence, many people are deciding to help them.
The experience with a shelter gave us joy and satisfaction that we did something good. We are glad that we contributed to changing pets’ life and also we hope that in the future we will be able to prepare more events like that.

We love pets, so we should look after them.
Last week our school, 1st Casimir the Great High School, organised a charity action 'Don't wait! Open up your heart!' for homeless animals from animal shelter in Czartki. It was the 3C's idea but every class could join in. The main aim was material help for animals.
On Monday, 17th January at 10 am in after-school club the action started. For two weeks students were bringing dry and wet dog or cat food, toys, leads, collars, bowls, old duvets, blankets and cat litter which could enable animals go through the winter. Also they could buy a piece of homebaked cake or silicon bracelets with paws pattern and slogan of action. All collected money went to charity and vet.
Almost every teachers, students and even their parents got involved in campaign. What's more, willing people went with volunteers from our school to shelter. They could play with cats, take dogs for a walk, feed them. Some of animals have been adopted and found new homes.
Now, animals are happy, feel warm and safe. This action shows human empathy and sensitivity for animal suffering. I hope there will be more events like this in our school. We want to thank wholeheartedly all participants.

Charity event for stray animals in local school

As we all know, there are a lot of animals without a home, in need of food and water. Last Saturday local high school students took notice of this problem and organized a charity event with the aim to help stray animals. Event took place at a park.

Event started at 12 A.M. students brought with themselves animal feed for cats and dogs, that you could buy. All the money was found for the animal shelter, which helps stray animals to find a new home. People from the shelter came to the event too and they brought with themselves all kinds of dogs and cats. The event ended about 5 P.M. with all of the participants layed out food for homeless animals in the town.

The event brought attention to many people in the town. Around 500 people came to the event, helping students in rescuing stray animals. Main point of helping the stray animals was that you could adopt animals. It had a significant impact on the whole charity idea that day. Many people decided that they will be taking pets to their homes. Animal shelter was very happy about this event and after all, the results exceeded their expectations.

Charity event was a success, there is no doubt about it. Students from mine did a great job raising awareness about the homeless animals that need just some love and attention. We can all learn from them.

Students from our school organized a charity action for the animal shelter in Czartki. As part of the campaign, we collected food, bowls, blankets, collars and toys for dogs and cats.
Despite the bad weather, the charity campaign took place in the school sports hall. The rain did not stop us from this wonderful action of helping these defenseless animals. This event involved not only students of our school, but also teachers. During the campaign, money was collected in special cans, a few students also baked cupcakes, which were sold, and the money was given to a vet who checked the health of our pupils.
Organizing such actions is very important because it helps not only animals, but also shelter workers. Winter is a difficult time for homeless animals. The publicity of the action helped to increase the reach and interest. We can also become volunteers at the shelter, which will greatly improve the psyche of our animals and allow them to forget about their past a bit.
The shelter is home to many animals. All of them are waiting for help from wise and good people with a big heart. We strongly encourage all readers to join the action and help in providing pets with a warm place to sleep and full bowls.
We can help, and if we can, let's do it!

“A little bit love for homeless pets”
Last month was dedicated for dogs and cats without home and love. Because of that our school organized charity event for homeless pets. Students came in to park and organized picnic. Everyone brought something like cakes, cookies, fruits and candies. There was even a barbeque. people which one in the park for walk with dogs or kids bought something and all that money was donated for shelter. It was great event, weather was great, music play loud to bring attention. Everyone in our area was committed to helping animals.
Events like this teach children and adult how to done something good for other especially for animals. Thanks for kindness homeless pets have a little bit of love and attention. Homeless it’s a huge problem and we have to talk about it. More people have to know and help vulnerable animals. Because of our event more people heard about shelter and needs. The number of adoptions has increased and more pets are in loving home now. Huge thanks for our students and all of you who help to donated shelter! May events such as these one become a monthly tradition on our city … That would be great !

I think that each of us has a little love for animals and those little creatures that surround us. they can bring a lot of smiles on our faces and light a fire in our hearts.
Despite appearances, the greatest love can be shown by those homeless, unwanted animals whose smile is simply caused by the presence of another human being. Then they feel appreciated, their world changes when they have someone nearby, someone to whom they can pass positive energy.
This is why our school decided to organize a charity campaign for homeless animals. what's the best literally everyone could take part in it!
the pets were mostly homeless dogs and cats, but surprisingly, there were also a few rodents who were also looking for a home.
we organized a circus show with trained animals to provide our pets with a dose of energy. there were really a lot of people. there were two goals of this action. 1. gather as much food as possible for our pets, and 2. adopt some of them. to our surprise people were really eager to help. those who did not have time to buy karma donated gifts to the money company. a few girls even bought collars and toys! the animals were very happy.
the children went for a walk with their pets, played with them, and some formed a great bond. and we wanted to show that these animals are no different from others. they need us too, they are friendly and eager to play.
many people changed the way of thinking, decided to adopt dogs, some even kittens and create a wonderful home for them.
most of them visit the shelter every now and then and go for a walk with their pets. wonderful friendships are formed here that will surely last for a long time. we are very happy with the action and we will definitely repeat it more than once. and those who were not there, we invite you next time! anyone can help. a sincere smile is enough - it is definitely worthless.

Students from my school organised charity event for animals. They encouraged everyone to bring whatever the could: blankets, cans of feed, toys for animals, feed collars etc.., It started a week ago, people brought really a lot of useful stuff. We had a lot of work to everything pack on the bus(which we rented earlier) and bring it to a shelter. But everyone help as. We encouraged to come with us to shelter and there help too. It was great how many people want to help animals! There were almost 150 people. Ladies who worked there impressed by our gesture and said that it rarely happens. To see these happy dogs on our coming was very touching. We gave all our gifts them and we started walking the dogs and playing with them. It was very funny! The worst part was to part with this place and those dogs. We have found so many benefits from it. Although for a short time dogs can feel loved by people and enjoy life. And all the gifts we gave help to maintain the shelter so that it could continue to help the animals. We are sure we will organize it more often. See you soon, and thank everyone for this what we doing.
