Is the VOD the future of home entertainment ? In my opinion , yes , VOD is a very good idea.
Recently , Internet has become very popular in our country. Almost half of Poles use the Internet every day. They are searching in Internet mainly information and entertainment. VOD is a new kind of entertainment on our “online” market , but it is becoming very popular. VOD guarantees us legal watching and downloading the latest movies and series. It is very important because most Internet users , in violation of the law , illegally download movies , series and games . Maybe in the future VOD contributes to decrease in piracy amoung our ‘online” community.
VOD is also very comfortable for us. We can watch any movie or series without going out from home. We have to only order movie or series and we can watch this film any time of day.
VOD websites offer us film and series for really small charge. We can watch the premiere episode a lot earlier than on TV. We have to only send text message for the charge. In the majority , one film costs about 10 PLN. It isn’t so much as a one movie. In particular, the we can do this without going out from home.
Summing up , VOD is the future of home entertainment. It is very comfortable and cheap . I hope that in future VOD websites will offer us more new movies and series.

I looked through the online video platforms and now I know what VOD exactly is. In my opinion this way of spending free time without wasting money is quite good. Nevertheless, I think there won’t be rage of watching films from VOD – platforms in the world. There is plenty of reasons why people ( to my mind ) would choose other kinds ofamusement. Firstly, people have various idea show to waste the day.Woman prefer going shopping or meeting up with friends than sitting in front of the TV/computer. If we are at home we would rather read a book or cook than become viewier. We do like watching films but it doesn’t make us happy. Considering men’s pastimes we can’t forget about playing football or going to the gym. Men, of course, love watching films, so this way of getting films would suit them. However, they are in minority. What is more, some people like buying genuine films in stores, for example in Empik®. Moreover, there are people in the world who don’t have access to Internet, so it can be hard for them to watch sth wchich is available in Network. Furthermore, celebrities and other people entourage us to live healthier, for instance exercising sport. If this idea develops children as well as adults will go for it. As we know, playing computer isn’t health for eyes, spine, even belly! To sum up, I’m convinced that VOD won’t be a world-wide entertainment, even though it is successful.

I think that VOD isn`t the best idea for people in the future.
When we are bored, we go to friends or we are reading some intresting book but instead of the reading we more and more often reach for the Internet . It is a normal situation in the 21th century. A fact that without going out we can settle for ourselves of good entertainment surprises nobody. VOD is a solution for lazy people. When we want to watch the film we are going to the cinema and we aren't shutting ourselves away in four walls. I think that people they will stop meeting with themselves and instead of the contact with other man they will choose constant sitting in front of the computer and all the time watching online film and computer pages. Vod is a good idea for rainy days but not for spending the entire life. We can sometimes watch the film in the Internet but it isn't possible to devote friends and family.
To summing up it is possible to use vod but in moderation. Is good and very cheap solution of the boring evening. But it is computer from which the eyesight isn`t keeping well, but it is possible also to become dependent.

Recently I’ve looked on VOD platforms, and it’s nice suprise for me. I’ve never been interested in it, and when I wanted to watch a film, tv series or something which I can’t found in TV, I just switched on internet and downloaded it. In each case, if customers want to watch or download efficiently they should have good internet transfer etc. so these are comparable. But VOD platform is legal, and there is the main difference between VOD and downloading. VOD platforms are evolving and growing up, and I think in the future it will replace completely illegal downloading from the internet.
If I would compare VOD and tv, in my opinion VOd is winning again. I don’t like watching TV and I do it really seldom. TV offer is not interesting, only few channel are valuable, and programs or films which are really good are being repeated all the time. In effect of this, we jump between channels, waste our time, watch a TV spot, and after half day we realize that it’s time for sleeping. Most of people do it day by day. I can’t understand it, of course from time we need to “be switched off” and it’s even healthy, but this is resolutely too much, and it’s worrying. Instead of it, we may chose something in one of VOD platform, especially that choice is really variety- from old, classic film, through the documentary series, even up to latest cinema hit. To sum up VOD is great idea, and I hope it is future of our home entertainment.

Comparing VOD with normal and traditional Television ,everyone should focus on their benefits. Popularly called ‘ TV ‘ is the most common source of information and entertainment, but is this entertainment, which we want it to be ?. Television is almost free, but if we want to watch some valuable and curious film, we have to wait until the proper channel buy the rights to show this film. Even if we have TV satellites, where the transmission signal is better or the channels can afford to show us, viewers, better films in shorter time, we won’t be pleased because of costs, which comes from having TV satellites. We always guaranteed that on TV satellite there are lots of good and new films, but after that we realize that it’s really similar to normal channel.
On the other hand VOD is irrefutably great solution for people, who wants to improve their lives watching better films in high quality or to entertain themselves. Of course nothing is free, but VOD is cheaper than normal TV satellite. Also VOD is magnificent form of doing nothing apart from sitting in front of the screen, surfing the internet and watching, whatever we want. VOD is not only the great way of being in time with films, TV series etc, but it isolates us from society.
It’s difficult not to agree with this statement. It’s obvious that VOD is the future of home entertainment, thanks to our life gets easier, but it definitely goes in wrong direction. Soon we won’t be able to do something without the Internet.

I think that VOD is the future of home entertainment. Why?
VOD is the better way to watch our best
programmes, films or serials on the screen of our monitor than watch it on our TV.
Big inscription on the top of the VOD website is called ‘Watch whatever you want’.
We don’t have to wait for the next week to watch our best documentaries or
sport programmes. We just have to choose the right channel and then we
can pick out the most interesting stuff for us. You are the fan of your favourite
serial and you must record every episode on the DVD? You’re waisting your
time. Just sit down, relax and buy all episodes of LOST, DR. HOUSE etc.
Then watch them without adverts in the HD quality. In our TV it’s hard to
find programmes which will tell you about up-and-coming artistic films
and more ambitious movie. In the channel ‘Interviews and events’ we can
find announcements of films or intervievs with actors, producers etc.
What else VOD can offer for us? Only films? No. We can listen our music,
watch concerts of almost every singers in the world. Isn’t it great? Connect
your PC to your TV with HD quality and then be happy of great quality of the VOD films.
Of course we have to pay for admission to watch every film on the VOD websites but
it’s the cheapest way to have store of all kinds of films in our hands.

Is the VOD the future of home entertainment? Definietly YES! And in my opinion a person who devise that, deserve for big aplause from us, because someone need to initiate it. From couple years network in our country become very popular.Fact is that more than sixty procent of polish citizens have internet and use it every day at least one hour a day. Now when we have to disposition VOD we can watch online our favourite TV series, films and download them, and its all legal. Couple years earlier, like you remember, police hunted people who downloading all this staff. No one think about that is illegal, and still nobody cares it. Thats why now we have VOD - I think it was created to give us entertainment and in a way to protect us befor violiting the law. So, first of all like I showed is, that VOD give us entertainment by internet, like never before, and some protect. Secondly I want to discus and show why VOD is very comfortable and handy. VOD is very comfortable from two very simple reasons. First - you don't need to go anywhere if you want to watch something. You can stay in home and watch everything you want. Second - on network you can watch everything, like TV series epizodes, before they will be showed in TV, or films that are still in cinemas. Ofcourse VOD is handy because everything, you need to watch what you like, is a computer with internet. In conclusion I think that VOD definietlyis future of entertainment, becouse it offers any for not much.

Now I can't say 'Yes VOD is a good idea' or 'No it isn't good idea'. Maybe when the comment will be in the end I will know my opinion is wrong or good.
I think that VOD simplifies our life because, we can't go to the movie rental if we want to see any films. It's saving time and money. But no better to go to the cinema and see films in 'big screen'? I don't know. The people are different. VOD is devourer of time- if we saw one interesting film we want to see another. In the other side, we don't go to friends, for a walk or concert because we have 'our cinema in our home'. Most likely this is good idea for lazy people. I agree: VOD has a repertoire spanning, many programms and films. It's tempting. But we can't allow to bad choice: if we have to select walk or meet with friends and VOD, we must to choice friend or something else.
VOD can't be our greatest entertainment but if we tired or simply, we have like to see something we can go and watch it. I think that everything in moderation is good for us- we cannot hog. VOD is quite good idea for lazy afternoon.

I looked what VOD is exactly. My answer on question – Is VOD the future of home entertainment? - is ‘yes’
VOD is good solution for busy people, whose haven’t time to go to the cinema. Impatient fans can watching films before premiere, and lazy people can watching film at home, even in a bed. Besides it’s good way for saving time because don’t have to comply for schedule. But in frankly speaking I don’t like it.
That website isn’t solution for illegal downloading films from net. If you want to watch the film you have to pay for it and in my opinion it doesn’t worth to pay about 10 zl and watch the film on a small screen at the desk. Tickets in the cinema coast about 5 -6 zl more but I think it isn’t very much for watching the film on a big screen, sitting in a comfortable armchair with good quality of sounds. Computers aren’t good for our health specially for our eyes and spine.
Nowadays more and more people have a access to the net, and there are more and more websites like VOD. Besides the fact that I don’t like it I have to admit that VOD is the future of home entertainment. But I hope that conventional cinemas won’t turn into VOD.

In my opinion VOD is future of home entertainment. Best thing of VOD is that you can watch whatever you want whenever you want. In normal television and even sat tv in 95 percent is wasting time with stupid films and serials. You must wait very long time to watch something interesting. Using VOD you can watch film that you will enjoy at the time. If you want to see a horror movie you just click, the same is with another type of films. Next advantage is huge assortment of videos. VOD is an alternative for renting films cos you don’t have to move yourself for it. It is already in your house and it is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. VOD is perfect for people who have TVs with PCin what make that you can connect computer with a TV. High speed internet makes possible to watch movies in even HD. Disadvantage of VOD is that you have time limit to see the movie for example for two days of 24 hours. I hope that I prove that Video On Demand certainly is a future of home evtertainment special for young people and people who don’t have much time.
