Many parents limit the time spent in front of the TV or computer for their children. Like everything else, it has pros and cons.
To begin with childrens are very easily addicted to computers or telephones. Countless games or movies make it difficult to disconnect from them and by that childrens don't feel the flow of time. Spending screen time for a long time is unhealthy. It damages eyesight, reduces concentration and causes nausea. Childrens often don't know what are they doing when they use any devices with internet connection. They can be manipulated by many ads or websites. Childrens are exposed to scammers and hackers attacks because they don't think anyone can do something bad to them on the internet.
However childrens and youths need a connection to the internet these days. Communication apps like messenger or WhatsApp are necessary to communicate with other people. Sometimes we need some screen time to develop a hobby, get information about the world or get some help with learning. Limiting screen time makes it difficult for us to do that.
To conclude, parents should limit screen time for their childrens when they see they spend too much time on it. However these days everyone needs around half hour to hour screen time per day and that is not unhealthy and completely normal.

The downside of sitting in front of the TV:
-Hyperactivity and difficulty concentrating
-Anxiety and phobias
-Fatigue
-Vision defects, posture defects, obesity
-Decreased social skills
-Mental laziness
-Lack of opportunity to interact with peers.

good sides of sitting in front of the TV:
-reinforcing a sense of social connectedness-when a child watches TV with parents or friends
-gaining knowledge
-television is a kind of "fun".

Depends on what the child is watching and how it affects them. Television is good if it is watched sensibly and not too much. It is important that the child watches special programs in addition to cartoons. This can be done with friends or with family to develop relationships. Television can be a good developmental tool but it can also be harmful if your child watches it all day. It is important that your child spends time with friends and outdoors, and can watch TV in the evenings. You can set a limit on how long your child can sit in front of the TV during the day, e.g. 2-3 hours. This should be enough.

Increasingly, you hear about parents limiting their kids' time in front of televisions, computers and telephones and other electronic devices, which has both good and bad sides to keep in mind.
Children spend a lot of time in front of the screen, making them sleepy and irritable. They also have learning difficulties. The internet can also put your child at risk. We hear a lot today about scammers using a child's naivety to obtain the information they need. It is very unhealthy to spend time in front of a screen as it damages your eyesight.
However, the use of electronic devices also has its advantages. First of all, it enables the child to easily access information about the world or learning materials. Through the Internet, you can develop your interests in a given field. It also enables easy communication with other people. Today, there are many computer games that can, for example, develop a child's language skills.
In conclusion, the child should know moderation in the use of electronic devices. Anything done in moderation is absolutely advisable. Therefore, I believe that parents' time limits are absolutely advisable. The parent should also monitor what the child is doing while using the device.

More and more children are becoming addicted to computers and TV. The amount of screen time has a huge impact on a child's development and discipline. Many parents limit the time they spend in front of a computer or TV. This method has both advantages and disadvantages.
The effects of spending too much time are primarily a loss of imagination, laziness leading to obesity, more and more frequent eye defects, posture and fatigue. When children spend their time in front of the screen, they cannot focus on their learning and become anti-social. The greatest danger that a child may commit unknowingly is various types of online shopping of fake websites. This leads to hackers obtaining our personal data, which is associated with further consequences.
However, the use of electronic devices is not only disadvantages, but also several benefits, provided that we control the websites used by the child. Everyone needs to get away from reality and have some entertainment. First of all, the Internet allows the child to easily communicate with people, acquire knowledge through access to scientific materials and information about the world. The Internet is also a form of fun through many games or videos.
In conclusion, limiting screen time teaches kids discipline. Parents should talk and set a child's time limit in front of the TV or computer. Then the parent can monitor everything the child is doing.

More and more children and teens are spending their time in front of smartphone, computer or TV. Parents are trying to limit usage these devices which has pros and cons.

There are many good reasons of using smartphone and computer. To begin with, they allow us communicating with friends and family in quick way by Messenger, WhatsApp etc. Secondly, you have an easy access to information and news from around the world. Another point is that TV provide us an entertainment. We also kill the time listening to music or scrolling feed on social medias. What's more, you can improve your language skills when you play games or watch series in the original version. Finally, you can discover your new hobby for example digital drawing, taking photos, exercising and healthy eating (there are lots of films on YouTube about workout at home and healthy meals).

So what are disadvantages? First of all, you become hyperactive, irritated, you lose your temper due to trivial issues. Furthermore, you have problems with sleeplessness, you can't concentrate and think clearly. During watching TV or chatting witch friends on phone we often stoop and seat wrongly which is bad for our spine. Also when you play games or watch TV you lose track of the time - five minutes change into one hour or longer. Time slips through your fingers.

In conclusion, using a computer, smartphone or TV is good for children and teens but with common sense. Parents should control their children when they spend too much time alone with devices because it might be unhealthy for them.

In these days most of children spend many hours of the day sitting in front of a screen. Kids becoming addicted of TV, phones and video games. Because of this behavior most parents limit their children’s screen time. What are the pros and con of limiting screen time by parents?

There are many reasons why spending too much time in front of a screen is unhealthy. To begin with, when children spend most of the day playing in the video games or surfing in the Internet, they become lazy and don’t spend time actively. This leads to obesity and related diseases. What is more children’s eyesight deteriorates, they have problem with focus and study. Many of kids have also anger issues caused by video games or movies. In the Internet is also really dangerous for children for example they may be a victim of stalking or they may easily give someone personal information and addresses. That’s why parents limit screen time for their children.

However, the Internet and computers, phones or TV has good side too. Children can communicate easily with their friends or family, research information for school or practice language skills. They can also find many videos about healthy lifestyle or science and experiments or just relax and watch a movie.

To conclude, children’s screen time have to be balanced with time when children playing outside, doing homework or studying. Parents should control the content that their child sees online.

These days, more and more time is being spent by young people in front of computers or phones. However, is this behaviour as bad as society makes it?

There are a number of benefits of using mobile phones and computers, if we use it the right way. For instance, we are able to have any information at any time just in our hands. We can learn about the world, summarize our thoughts, write down anything that comes to mind. Phones opened many doors for our creativity and made our lives easier, not only in communication, but in many other aspects. Such as learning new things or developing our hobbies.

On the other hand, time spent on mobile phones and computers can be summarized just as wasting your time. Nowadays there are so many applications and websites that are made especially for being addictive, just to make more money. More and more kids fall into these traps, wasting their time on useless content on the internet. Furthermore, this could be very harmful for younger people, because we would have less people thinking out of the box.

All in all, I believe that using computers and mobile phones, requires avoiding useless and addictive content. Without it, spending time in front of a monitor is a waste of time. If our society learns about it, we can be much brighter and clever.

A large proportion of parents try to limit their time in front of the computer or TV. This action has its pros and cons.

A huge advantage of this behaviour is the fact that the child spends more time actively. Thanks to this, it can develop in many areas and does not "waste" time with technology. Also, on the plus side is that we can prevent such a child from having sleep problems. The computer display, the TV emits blue light which is harmful when used shortly before going to bed. The advantage of limiting time before technology is that we prevent addiction. The child focuses more on learning or an activity.

However, not only the pluses are there with this behaviour. A significant downside is the child's feeling that he or she is being limited. They feel lonely among their peers because most of our lives are online. Another reason that should persuade us not to limit this time is the fact that technology makes our lives so much easier. On the Internet we can find a lot, dictionaries, scientific applications, or an interesting film. The downside to limiting the use of technology is when a teenager would like to contact or instruct.
Limiting time in front of a computer or TV has its pros and cons. However, we must remember that every year life moves more and more to the Internet.

Restricting a child or adolescent's use of a computer, TV or telephone may be detrimental to them in the future. We should trust our child because he knows best what he wants to do and whether he needs technology to do so.

Nowadays most of us are spending our leisure time in front of the screens and unfortunately, it concerns especially younger generations. Increasingly we hear that youths are addicting to electronics and because of that parents are limiting time with electronics for their children. There are different approaches to that method.
On the one hand, most parents are convinced of negative involvement for their children and treat it strictly. Firstly, electronics' downsides appear in physical health, because spending too many hours in a sitting position can negatively affect body posture and staring at a bright screen can damage eyesight. What is more, there are also mental symptoms like irritation, laziness or lack of concentration. In addition, younger minds are less careful on received information so limits for the Internet and media can save them from inappropriate content or frauds.
On the other hand, computers or TVs can have a positive effect. For instance, due to the Internet, children can broaden their minds and also by exploring websites develop their hobbies. These days many computer games or TV programs engage the learning process and support for example creativity skills. In that way, children can connect relaxing and productive time spending.
To conclude, computers and TVs are not as bad as they look if we have control over how much time children spend in front of them. They can be useful in so many ways only if we remember to use them wisely and moderately.

Many parents control their children because they sit whole days in front of a computer or telephone screen. Like everything else, It has pros and cons.
To begin with it should be mentioned that children quickly become addicted to the phone. In addition, computers or phones spoil the bond between people, because instead of playing and talking to each other, children prefer to play the game.It is worth mentioning that this is also a lack of development for a child. By building blocks, he would develop, for example, the ability to think creatively.
Unfortunately some games or movies cause aggression among young people which becomes disturbing. Another advantage of parental control is careful insight into what the children are watching. Setting them a time limit can also save you from seeing an ophthalmologist.
However, it should be mentioned that there are limits. too much pressure from the parent can make the child fearful and deprive him of his sense of freedom. Moreover, sitting in front of a computer is a good way to relieve boredom and is conducive to fun and entertainment. Thanks to the Internet you can also meet virtual friends, which parents often criticize because of their concern for their child. But who knows- maybe it might turn out to friendship? The lack of parental control teaches the child to be responsible for his actions and disrespect for his time. The child knows how much time has been lost and how much time has been spent in productive activities. This it can draw some conclusions.
As we can see - there are pros and cons to controlling their children by their parents. I think there are many more, good and bad, as technology is constantly evolving and giving us both good and bad opportunities to see. Remember to be moderate and everything should be fine.

Nowadays, children and teenagers have universal access to smartphones, TV and computers. Parents often try to limit the time that their children are spending on these devices. That solution has pros and cons.

Using smartphone and computer to studying is very good because we don't waste time in the library for searching information that we want to know. Computer games can be educational and improve reflexes and speed of decision making. Another advantage of these devices is that we can contact family or friend by using messenger, WhatsApp or text SMS. It's quicker than sending an e-mail or sending a letter to someone. Smartphones can kill time. We can listen to music, watch memes, Netflix, Youtube etc. An advantage of a smartphone is that we don't need to buy a book. We can download file with it and read them like a book.

But they can have some disadvantages which can overshadow the good sides of that technology. The smartphone can easily cause us to lose our sense of time and sit on them for hours watching mems or listening to music instead of taking care of our responsibilities. Another disadvantage is that computer games can cause us to become nervous because of the "competition" we undertake when playing multiplayer games. Parents want to limit the time also because they are wondering about the health of their children. Sitting at the computer for a long time can do a lot to our spine. It can cause back pain and other diseases.

To sum up, in my opinion, it is good to limit the time devoted to these devices to teach children responsibility and when is it time to play and when it's time for chores. It can avoid health problems too.

Nowadays it is difficult to survive without a computer or television. Young people use the Internet to communicate with their peers or play games.
In my opinion, spending too much time in front of a computer or TV has a bad influence on a young person. A small amount of time spent in front of the devices has never harmed anyone, but you have to do it with your head.
Young people are looking for news in the technology of today's world. They look for new games and programs on the Internet. They spend far too much time on it, because it's all addictive and hard to break away from. They forget that they have to go to school the next day and keep in touch with their peers.
A few hours a day playing online games or games through which you can create your own character, you lose yourself in an imaginary world, forgetting about reality, to which it is difficult to return. It has a bad impact on the psyche of all people, especially a young person, because he is just forming it. This is all the more reason why parents should limit the time their children spend in front of these devices.

The counterargument is that if we have a task, we immediately use the Internet, because it is a treasure trove of knowledge. Then we save time for searching for information in thick books. It is a necessity nowadays.
As I said before, spending too much time at the computer is bad for young people. It doesn't mean that we should give it up. We just need to find moderation. Just like an adult and a child need to know their limits of sitting in front of the computer or TV.
