1. This is not a popular opinion, but I think that plastic containers are not too bad. The latest research shows plastic bags make up only a fraction of marine debris in the world waters. Plastic bags use fossil fuels, so they may more pollution in waterways, but have less effect on climate change and land use than other types of bags.

2. I think it will be possible to reduce my carbon footprint. I can save energy. I can plant trees or put up in my house solar panels. I can turn off lights when I am not using them. So, yes, it will be possible for me.

3. I think that individual people can take a short shower. In this way they will save water. They can segregate waste. In this way they will save a secondary raw material.

4. We can increase food production in many ways. We can plant more greens and fruits. Just we must promote agriculture. The state should support farmers.

1. So, in my opinion banning plastic bags are great idea, except of big reusable plastic bags that we can use everyday. Better option is using paper bags, which don’t make that affect in processing for environment, also fabric bags can be used everyday to go to shop and they look good. Processing plastic bags is bad for ozone layer and a lot of people are just throwing them away to the forest and it can’t unfold for few years.
2. Maybe using bike to go to school instead of being drove by my parents can reduce it. Also putting solar panels may be the thing. Of course not using electronic devices as computer will reduce consumption of energy at home.
3. At first people should start with not making mess around as throwing things into the bin instead of throwing away at street. Then they shouldn’t burn plastics and other things at home which is very popular nowadays.
4. We should start not wasting food as skins of fruits or maybe some cuts of meat and reuse them in other dishes. Then maybe we can start growing our vegetables and fruits at home.

I think it isn't a good idea to ban all plastic containers but I think it's a good idea to limit them as much as possible. Banning all plastic containers will lead to replacing them by paper containers and that can result in deficiency of woods because in that case a lot of trees would have to be cut out and it's not good for the environment too. So I think we have to find a balance and use paper and plastic in optimum proportions.

No, it's impossible for me. I often go to lots of places by car, I go to school by bus everyday and these vehicles emit a lot of exhaust fumes into the atmosphere. I also often buy new clothes and throw away the old ones because i quickly get bored of them. Clothes production also makes my carbon footprint bigger, so I would have to change my habits and that would be difficult for me. But I try to make my carbon footprint as small as I can by eating local and seasonal products, eating small amount of meat, saving energy and limiting using plastic containers.

Individual people can save the environment in a lot of simple ways. For example, they can choose more paper products than plastic ones (like shopping bags or cutlery). Another way is segregation of garbage, the most important of all - not leaving garbage in woods, on the streets and in whatever places they are, they should throw away garbage to the trash. People also can save water (for example by collecting water from rain) and energy (for example by using energy-saving lightbulbs).

I think it's a difficult task to do. But if everyone who lives at house and who has got a backyard, garden or just some place, grows their own vegetables and some local fruits, it will help. Also, the plan of producing artificial meat is a good idea to me, because it will be so much more effective than traditional ways of getting meat.

1. I personally don't think that we have to totally ban all plastic containers, We can start using more paper or fabric bags, which are even better cause they're more durable, reusable plastic bottles or metal straws instead of the plastic ones. Plastic will still be using by people but not that much.

2. I think that It is possible for me to reduce my carbon footprint. For example by planting my own plants like vegetables or fruit trees. Also I can reduce it just by simple turning off the lights when they're not needed.

3. Individual people can help saving the envitonment by loads of ways, but I think that firstly people should stop throwing away things, plastic bags, glass bottles etc. It is a big problem and just by stop doing it we could help a lot. Also we can segregate trash, don't take long showers too often to not waste water or when we can ride a bike instead of a car.

4. We can increase food production by planting our own vegetables, fruits and spices in our houses, even if someone doesn't have a garden It is possible to plant plants on a windowsill for example.

1. It's been quite a loud topic lately. Many brands are withdrawing from selling, offering plastic straws.Personally, I am not fascinated by this idea, because paper straws are uncomfortable, but if someone thinks that it has help, why not.
2. I think that somehow I do not produce a lot of pollution because recently, when it is warm, I try to walk on my feet.I try to walk on my feet or ride a bike.
3. Surely the basis is to reduce exhaust emissions.Another option is garbage segregation, even an option with a restriction on the use of plastic straws.
4. Surely the basis is to increase farms producing vegetables, fruits and animal husbandry.Aids for farmers would be subsidies from the state that would help to buy them out equipment for development.

I think it’s not a good idea to ban all plastic containers. At first, I think that would be too sudden change for people. In addition, banning plastic containers would replace them by cotton or paper bags, which production requires land, huge quantities of water, chemical fertilisers and pesticides or it would lead to the cutting down a large amount of trees, so as we can see it’s also not good for environment. Moreover, plastic containers are not the largest sources of plastic pollution. In my opinion we could try to reduce using plastic containers or use them over and over again, not only once.

I think it would be possible to reduce my carbon footprint. I believe that everything is possible when we want something very hard and we are persistent. In my opinion we can always do more. For example, I could use my bike often than car or try to buy less products in plastic. I think that the great way to reduce it would be also selling clothes that I don’t wear than throwing them or keeping them for no reason in my wardrobe. I could also eat less meat.

In my opinion there are a lot of things that people can do to help save the environment. I think that people should stop littering (mostly in the woods and streets). We could also try to use reusable bags and segregate trash. We should try to save electricity by turning off our lights or TV when we don’t use them. We could also save water especially when we brush our teeth or wash our hair. The great option would be also picking the bike instead of the car.

That’s a difficult question for me but in my opinion the easiest way to solve the problem of increasing food demand is to try to grow own vegetables and fruits at home. When you don’t live in the house with garden you can try to plant plants on the windowsill. I think that we could also try to not waste food and buy sensibly. The great way would also be educating farmers about current agricultural practice.

1. In my opinion, banning all plastic containers is not necessary. However, a good idea is to reduce plastic consumption by using reusable bottles instead of single-use ones, using fabric or paper bags, and not using straws or replacing them with paper or metal ones.

2. I think that it would be possible for me to reduce it. For example, I could turn off the lights when I don’t need them. Also, recently I walk to school on my feet instead of driving a car, which, I think, can be helping in reducing the carbon footprint.

3. Individual people can help save the environment in so many different ways. For example, they can stop throwing away clothes that they don’t wear anymore and try to sell them or give them to the needy.

4. In my opinion, the easiest way to solve this problem is to stop wasting food by buying less food, but more often to make sure that we won’t throw it away. Also, we could start planting our vegetables and fruits in our gardens.

1. I think it goes without saying that plastics containers are an enormous problem, mostly because plastic trash is ubiquitous and plastic bags do not degrade. The amount of plastic litter just grows and grows, especially in our oceans. The marine animals such as sea turtles may just easily entangle in these containers and suffocate or mistake plastic materials for food and eat them. Furthermore, plastic bags pollute not only our water but also our land, because the wind blows these plastic bags(because they are lightweight) and trashes a whole area. The next argument, is the fact that a lot of energy is used in producing these plastic containers, when the typical useful life of each is around 10 minutes, then people throw them away. This is just
not economical.

2. I think that I’ve already reduced my carbon footprint as much as I could. I incorporate walking and cycling to some of my regular short-trip destinations. In that , I save the environment and I don’t need to add exercises to my busy schedule. I turn off lights and unplug devices when I am not using them. I also eat more fruits and vegetables and less red meat. Furthermore, I sell items, which I no longer use, for instance clothes or old toys. When I have to go somewhere, I use alternative transportation such as a bus.

3. First of all, people can bike, walk or carpool more and drive less. Secondly, conserving water at home(for example taking shorter showers, turning the tap off while you brushing your teeth only running a dishwasher, when it’s full etc.) is one of the easiest ways to protect the environment, but still many people don’ t do this. Also buying fresh organic food is a great way to support local farmers, reduce carbon footprint and support nature with right food choices. The next way to save the environment is reducing the amount of stuff people consume.

4. It is obvious that as the global population rises, so does the demand on the food supply, so how the problem of increasing food demand can be solved? First of all, we can reuse food. We can also plant more cereals, vegetables, spices and fruits, especially people who have backyard or just plant tiny trees on our windowsills. We can also try to buy less, but regularly. The problem of food wasting can be solved by creating more places, where we can donate food that we know we won’ t eat and people who need it(for instance homeless) can take it.

1. In my opinion, it's an absolutely good idea, because plastic containers, bags and other things pollute our environment. When I usually go to the forest or river, I find a lot of this kind of rubbish and it's terrible, because nature become huge, human landfill. The number of plastic waste all the time growing rapidly and we can see this, for example on a streets ours towns. Another problem with plastic is long-term degradation- from 100 to 1000 years. But I think the world authorities don't want to tackle this issue since in the every supermarket on our planet we can see shop shelves full of plastic containers.
2. I think would be possible. I can reduce my carbon footprint due to decrease electric energy consumption. For example, I may switch off the lights when I come out with rooms. I might turn off my laptop when I don't use it. I shouldn't charge my electrical appliances at night. I can also walk on feet everywhere.
3. People must stop litter and put away rubbish everywhere when eat something. We should recycle trash, so we must watch which bin we throw the garbage into. Everyone should limit travel by cars and choose an ecological form of transport. People who live in houses must reduce coal burning and change the furnaces with new ones. People should choose to take a shower rather than take a bath and in that they won't waste water.
4. The food demand is increasing because, on earth is more and more people and everyone must eat something. It's a huge problem, because the situation is getting worse. One of the solution is plant vegetables and fruit in homes or gardens. When people have own plants, they become self-sufficient. Maybe, in the future we will must use synthetic proteins to supplement our diet. The most tragic solution is natural selection, for example in pandemic time.

1.I think that banning plastic containers isn’t a good idea, because plastic containers have a lot of uses as food and beverage containers ,because of all types of packaging they’re the most hygienic and can be molded to fit different purposes. Also the material that is used to produce plastic containers comes from leftovers of oil refining and it doesn’t consume nearly as much land and water resources like e.g cotton or industrial timber production, which is a huge benefit of it.I think that the main underlying problem is how we use and dispose of plastic containers, because paradoxically we use and see them as disposable items, despite the durability of the material that they’re made of.That causes trash that will not disappear in the foreseeable future. However reduction in overall usage and a change in habits by e.g incentivising people to use less plastic, would be highly beneficial for the environment.
2.It would be possible to reduce my carbon footprint by constraining my consumption e.g buying less clothes, walking instead of riding to school or saving water and electricity. So, I think it’s totally doable for me.
3.Individual people can help save the environment by making more conscious choices when it comes to their lifestyle. They could switch to more eco-friendly solutions like using renewable energy sources e.g solar panels, constraining their consumption and choosing products that are ecologically produced, also a huge change would occur if we change our communication habits and take more public transport or individual transport that has a smaller carbon footprint.
4. The problem of increasing food demand will only grow worse as the global population and the wealth of societies rise. That obviously will mean more consumption and therefore an increase in production must follow if we are to meet the needs of the growing populace. But the increase in food production, if nothing changes, will only reach a certain level before we will run out of capacity to grow more food. So,I think that the best option that we have right now is just simply to consume less food products,by that I mean buying only the things that we’re sure that we’ll consume in a short time period so not to waste them later on,because they’ve expired. Also,a change in the ways that we grow food is necessary, because if we develop more productive and less invasive practices in agriculture we’ll be able to provide more food for more people.

1. In my opinion, phasing out plastic bags is a great idea. After the crazy fashion of the 90s, in which the mass use of plastic in almost every area of life was at stake, e.g. as food packaging or the aforementioned plastic disposable bags, people are becoming more and more ecologically aware. Disposable, plastic containers are perishable, easy to get and being free or comically cheap and widely available. I think the main argument for withdrawing them from a sale is, for sure,
the fact that they cause great damage to the environment. Many of them can be seen in the ocean where they kill lots of species of animals and plants. At first, people would feel no plastic bags, but in time they would certainly get used to this state of affairs.

2. I try to reduce my carbon footprint as much as possible, but I believe that there are still many things I can change in my life to be more environmentally friendly. I limit my meat consumption to a large extent, I would like to switch completely to vegetarianism in the future. I try not to buy clothes from chain stores that produce “fast fashion” clothes, instead, I look for stores that produce clothes with a good composition.
Certainly, a good move towards being greener would be to reduce the use of electronic devices, change the means of transport to a bicycle and change the bathtub to a shower, I will try to introduce this into my life in the nearest future.

3. Individual actions may include drinking tap water instead of bottled water, reducing meat consumption, using less washing powder, changing light bulbs to energy-saving ones and, of course, segregating rubbish.
Other ideas can be increasing the ecological awareness of people in our surroundings, organizing pro-ecological events, e.g. exchanging clothes with friends called “clothes swapping”, planting trees or planting flower meadows in gardens. It is worth making others aware of how important our planet is for us.
4. One way is to introduce varieties that are more productive or resistant to water scarcity, water salt, or diseases and pests into agriculture. Farmers can be persuaded to grow entirely new crops. We could also put more emphasis on how to use up leftover food and manage meals economically so that as little food as possible is wasted. As a result, we would buy less food and save nutrition from being wasted.

1. I think the idea of banning plastic containers is really good and the effects of their use are a threat to our planet. For example, one consequence could be pollution of the environment by plastic rubbish in forests. Of course, all of this is due to human stupidity, and not only does it produce plastic containers, it is the only way to stop nature from being killed.

2. I think it is absolutely possible because anyone can do it. For example, I can start taking the bus to school instead of the car, or use reusable bottles instead of disposable ones, or start selling clothes instead of throwing them away. These little thoughts can certainly reduce my carbon footprint.

3. Everyone decides about their surroundings and how we treat the gift of life in this beautiful place, which is the earth for us. We can always do a lot about it
and everyone thinks it's very important. We can use a reusable bag or bottle, or sell clothes that we don't use anymore, not just throw them away. We can also choose urban transport over our cars to reduce emissions, or we can save water by taking a shorter shower or by simply taking water while washing our hands.

4. We definitely need to be more practical in buying groceries. As the percentage of food thrown away is increasing worldwide. We need to stop wasting food, for example by buying only the thought we need at the moment, or maybe if someone has a chance to start a vegetable garden, he or she will just do it and can use fresh vegetables and fruits whenever they want, instead of throwing away old spoiled ones.

1. In my opinion it is a very good idea. By doing this, usage of plastic would significantly decrease and our planet would be cleaner. Using less plastic should be a priority for us all, for example even by recycling plastic things. On the other hand, plastic containers make our life a lot easier and it is just practical to use them, but all in all I suppose it would be better for our environment to stop using so much plastic.

2. It would be definetly possible for me. As an example, I can cut down on using so much energy. Furthermore, even taking a quick shower instead of a lasting bath would be a great way to help our environment. As a fact, we could reduce carbon footprint by choosing public transport or even cycling instead of riding a private car that obviously has a bigger emission than a bike. Referring to my diet, Im not "green" at all but maybe in the future that could change.

3. I have already mentioned it in last point, propably another way to help our planet is to recycle our waste, puting on energy-saving light bulbs. I suppose that limiting our consumption is the best way to save our green world because in recent years it has grown by abount 15 to 20 percent. I see it as a pretty scary figure and it kind of rises my awarness about the fact that nowadays people consume far too much.

4. It is not a very difficult question for me, the solution is quite obvious. For example growing your own vegetables and fruit in your garden makes you self-sufficent. By doing this even our leftovers would make use for us because they will provide compost and a natural fertilizer. Moreover, we should try to reduce the amount of food we waste and cut down on our water usage as much as it is possible. Consequently, our food demand would be the same but we would be more self-sufficent and it would be easier for farmers to provide food for people that cannot grow their own food.

1. It is not an easy decision, because on one side we buy food packed in plastic containers because it is convenient and hygenic. On the other hand plastic pollutes the nature and it takes a lot of time for plastic to dicompose so I think we should restrict using plastic containers and replace them with paper bags.
2. Each of us produces individual carbon footprint that is amonunt of carbon dioxide we make. Of course we can change it. There are simple steps we could take. So we can cycle, walk or take a bus insted of travelling by car. Another thing we can do is save the energy by using energy-saving devices or turning off the lights if it is not necessery. We can use green energy for example by installing solar panels. It doesn't seem obvious but it will also help if we become vegetarians, because producing meat releases a lot of CO2.
3. As the saying goes "Every little helps". If we want to have cleaner environment we should start from ourselves. We should stop throwing out things. We can always recycle or reuse them. We shouldn't burn plastic things in our stoves in order not to produce harmful chemicals. We should be responsible and take action. It is not dificult for example we can take part in cleaning-up actions.
4. Frankly speaking I'm not am expert. This problem should be solved on global scale. In some parts of the world people produce and consure too much food, while in others people are dying of hunger. One solution is to send surplus of food to poor countries. Another solution can be GM food because by gene modification we can produce bigger and more nutritious plants and animals to feed people.

1. Do you think it’s a good idea to ban plastic containers?
I think it’s a very good idea but it can be difficult because we are settling into this. Currently everything is packed in plastic containers, we don’t think about it every day. But there are a lot of ways to solve this problem, like using your own bag-for-life.
2. Would it be possible for you to reduce your carbon footprint?
In daily living it would be possible for me. Activity like going somewhere on foot or saving energy can reduce my carbon footprint.
3. How can individual people help save the environment?
Saving the environment it’s easy and there are a lot of ways to make it better. We can contribute to this by waste segregation, save water or energy - for example take quiet showers rather than long baths, turning off the lights when we don’t use them. It’s easy but can make our environment more hospitable.
4. How can the problem of increasing food demand be solved?
The easiest way to solve the problem of increasing food demand is don’t waste food. We buy a lot of food even when we don’t need so much. If somebody has conditions to start growing their own vegetables or fruits, it’s also helpful with this problem.
