So here we go. Your job is to pick a topic (or two) and write your opinion and arguments (+ examples) not more than 120-160 words. Student's book ex. 6 p.7. Deadline: March 4th. Enjoy it!

In an increasing number of countries it is allowed to use tablets in class. I believe that this is a very good and appropriate solution. Why? because this learning mode is much more effective than the traditional one. I will try to prove my thesis with the following arguments.
The first argument is that learning using new technologies is more cost-effective than textbooks. When you get right down to it, in the mid- to long-term perspective, the tablet is, in fact, a really smart investment. Tablets can easily be updated with the newest versions of information too.
The second argument is variety of teaching methods. There is an abundance of high-quality educational apps that your students can use to supplement learning. Therefore, using tablets, the student can learn more and in a more interesting way.
The third argument is that this learning mode is environment friendly. No need to use paper for homework and work during lessons. Paperless innovation is the new buzzword. No more ink and notepads. It’s all digital, eliminating paper and helping the environment.
In these times of global warming, it is extremely important. Of course, that is my opinion. Everyone can have their own individual opinion on this subject.
In summary, students with new learning methods have greater opportunities for easier and more effective learning. I think that I have proved the thesis put forward by me with the above arguments.

Let them take a breath
Have you ever wondered, what mean being a celebrity ? I think you will agree that everyone of us believe that a life led by famous people is really eventful and trouble-free, but we also must to know about irritating paparazzi, who never leave them side. Freelance photographers definitely infringe upon privacy of recognizable people, trying to take them a ridiculous photo or find a spectacular gossip and only use them to make fun of that persons.
Beginning of a celebrity life is not a simultaneously permission to obtain any information about life and family without that person’s consent, because everyone of us can keep on our intimity away of prying eyes, even if we are famous and distinguishable. Awareness of permanent exposed to the gaze of many people, following our every move, and waiting for a stumble, can cause constant strain and anxiety.
The privacy of famous people has become the major topic of conversations in our school, so we decided to create an open discussion on the school blog, where everyone could share their opinion in a comment. If any of the students wanted, they also could make a themed poster, which was then hung in the classrooms and in the corridor.
All things considered, I conclude that being a celebrity is agonizing in terms of preserve a privacy, but it is comforting to think that there are celebrities who, however, can separate their work from life, creating a comfortable space for themselves and their families, safe from gossip and intrussive paparazzi.

In many countries using of tablets during the lessons in school is a common phenomenon. Many people believe that is good change. They think that paper student’s books are worse than student’s books in tablets. However there is a lot of people who believe that normal, paper student’s books are better than tablets. Either supporters and opponents of tablets in school have their arguments.
The most important advantage of use the tablets during the lessons is fact that tablets are common device in our life. We are using electronic device for many hours during the day. Many people prefer read an e-book or listen to an audiobook than paper books. The technology is still developing and we should implement it to school.
Secondly, converting traditional student’s book into tablets will be good for students health. Now, children have to carry a lot of heavy books in their backpack. That is bad for their spine. Implement the tablets will be great for students spine.
Thirdly, if we don’t have to cut the three for a paper books, we are doing great for our planet and ecology. That’s the huge advantage of tablets.
First disadvantage is fact that we are using electronic devices for a many hours and school should be free of these thing. Parents can think that children shouldn’t spend a time in school using tablets, because children are using these things for too long.
Another disadvantage is lack of control during lessons. Children can use a tablet to do some other things than study during lesson.
In my opinion it is hard to decide who is right in that dispute. Either supporters and opponents of tablets in school have good arguments, but I think that I’m supporter.

From a different perspective
Most of us dreaming of becoming famous. When we are thinking of fame we mainly see good sides such as having a lot of money and friends. Sometimes reality turns out to be painful. As most guesses, it is about paparazzi.
Famous people often suffer from lack of privacy. Paparazzi are always nearby. Sometimes they break into property to observe what is going on there. Popular people do not have any personal freedom because somebody always watches them. I think celebrities have the right to privacy. I also think that some paparazzi behaviors is so dangerous that they should be reported to the police.
I cannot imagine how people who have a stalker must feel. It must be scary. Since last year in my school, we have journalism classes. During the classes we learn how a professional journalist should behave. We spend most of our time to learn about the limits of privacy. A real professional knows when to stop.
We must remember that famous people also want to have their own personal life. Privacy is the most important feature in our life. Celebrities themselves should decide what they want to share with the world. Active participation in the media does not oblige them to share private matters. In journalism classes at my school is the motto ‘Do unto others as you would have them do unto you’.
The truth is we should respect each other.

First of all using educational aids like tablets or computers in my opinion are good for students. Many of them have problems with imagine something without showing them. This type of solution will help them picture everything and then do some exercises without any problems.
Secondly students nowadays know their way around electronic things. It will help them to study because this type of education is more friendly than oldest ways.
However, it needs to be added that every situstion has a disadvantages too. The biggest minus is that when we use too much electronic gadgets our health is deteriorate. Our eyes hurts and usually we are forced to wear glasses.
Finally, why we want to change something when it is prospering right. Many students have their own ways to study and for some of them it will be not positive impact.
To sum up the opinions are dividing. In my opinion using educational aids are good but everything have frontiers. We should think about our health and education and we have to find the balance.

My thesis is the statement that this solution has both advantages and disadvantages. I will try to prove my thesis with the following arguments.

However, this solution hat disadvantages too. One of them is that this solution is unhealthy - keeping your eyes fixed for so long on a screen has negative effects. Next disadvantage is that It can also distract you and make you less concentrated. It’s easy to see that technology like a tablet can be distracting for many individuals when you can play games or browse social networks at the same time.
In summary, students with new learning methods have greater opportunities for easier and more effective learning. At the same time, such a solution may also have the negative elements mentioned above. I think that I have proved the thesis put forward by me with the above arguments.
